Hello, I’m Lisa—a home cook, blogger, and food photographer. I live with my husband and our wonderful children in a cozy home filled with the aroma of fresh cooking.

I started Crisp and Yum in 2024 as a personal blog and creative outlet. Life was bustling with family responsibilities and other commitments, and I found joy in sharing my culinary adventures. Little did I know, this passion project would blossom into my full-time career.

Baking has always been a love of mine, fueled by my sweet tooth and the delight of sharing treats with family and friends—especially chocolate chip cookies! As our family grew, so did my passion for cooking. I’m a firm believer in the magic of family dinners; there’s nothing quite like connecting over a nourishing meal with your loved ones.

Being a self-taught home cook, I’m dedicated to providing well-tested recipes and practical tips. Every recipe you find here has been tried and perfected in my own kitchen. These are the dishes I share with close friends when they want to impress or simply make everyday meals special.
